Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances  presents National Awards for e-Governance every year  to recognize and promote excellence in implementation of e-Governance initiatives. These awards intend to encourage horizontal transfer of ICT based practices, promote citizen-centricity of ICT applications as well as the innovative usage of technology amongst others. The National Awards for e-Governance attract a large number of nominations every year and are selected after rigorous processing and meticulous review of each nomination.
